My Place

Hi, I am Dinesh and I stay at Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli(East). Vikhroli is accessible by rail from Mumbai CST on Central Railway through regular local trains. It is also accessible from mumbai airport by road via Powai or Kurla. Rickshaws are available at the airport rickshaw stand and roughly costs about Rs. 100 to come to Kannamwar Nagar. Kannamwar Nagar is the largest residential locality in Asia and is divided into Kannamwar Nagar 1 and Kannamwar Nagar 2. A spacious circular playing ground named "Sambhaji Maidan" is located between 1 and 2.
Vikhroli is divided into East and West on either side of the railway line passing through it.
Vikhroli (East) consists of Kannamwar Nagar, Tagore Nagar and Bharat Nagar while Suryanagar and Parksite is located in Vikhroli(West).
Some of the major companies located in Vikhroli are Godrej, Cipla, Accenture andHCC. Most of the companies are located along LBS marg also known as Western Express Highway running through Vikhroli(West)

Just outside the station on the east side is the marketplace lined with shops and hawkers selling their wares. Monday is when the hawkers are the most and hence the market is crowded with people especially during evening.
